Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Mercy Care Atlanta. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our patients.

Under the guidance of a licensed provider, you will help preserve dental health, prevent disease, and improve the well-being of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct oral examinations and perform dental prophylaxis
  • Provide patient education on dental hygiene, especially for those with chronic illnesses
  • Assist in community outreach, including health fairs and events
  • Care for patients of various age groups, including adults, geriatrics, and occasionally infants, children, and adolescents

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
  • Active licensure by the Georgia Board of Dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist
  • At least two years of experience in dental hygiene
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and terminology
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
