Dental Care Specialist

About the Role:
The IDP Dentist is responsible for overseeing the assessment and management of dental problems associated with the IDP patient population, including referrals to specialists within the Grady Health System. The dentist will also participate in research activities related to dental issues of HIV-infected persons and grant activities as assigned by the Director of Oral Health Services. The ideal candidate will lead and direct the work of others, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dental care to patients with HIV/AIDS.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with oral health specialists to provide comprehensive dental care to patients with HIV/AIDS
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex dental needs
- Participate in research activities to improve dental care for patients with HIV/AIDS
- Lead and direct the work of others to ensure efficient and effective delivery of dental care
Requirements:
- DDS/DMD with active Georgia license
- Must have DEA registration number
- Two years of general practice experience, including collaboration with oral health specialists and knowledge of the practice of general dentistry
