Role Overview

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (master's or Ph.D.) in agriculture, agronomy, animal science, plant science, environmental science, economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in your area of specialization, showcasing expertise and achievements in research, policy analysis, program management, or technical assistance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of agricultural systems, practices, policies, and issues, alongside relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to synthesize complex information and develop actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and training and capacity building.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and relevant software tools.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of promoting agricultural sustainability, food security, and rural prosperity.
