POSITION SUMMARY

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our patients at Champion Partners In Rehab. Your expertise will help patients regain their strength and mobility through tailored therapy programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organizing and executing comprehensive physical therapy services.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Engage in medium physical exertion, including the ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds independently or more with assistance.
  • Responsibilities may include bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Must possess good visual acuity and effective communication skills.
  • Work primarily in an indoor environment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills essential for delivering quality patient care.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal abilities to inspire and motivate patients.
  • Maintain effective communication with medical personnel and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and supervise support staff effectively.
  • Possess strong problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to the profession.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Experience:
  • Preferred one year of relevant experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • COVID vaccination is preferred.
LICENSURE:
  • Must hold a valid license from the Alabama State Board of Physical Therapy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Authority:
  • Execute physical therapy procedures as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate the physical condition of patients.
  • Design and implement individualized therapy programs.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide appropriate treatments.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic equipment effectively.
  • Instruct patients on therapeutic exercises and the proper use of equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously.
  • Oversee support staff and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques for patients with unique needs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
