Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may encompass, but are not limited to, the operation of various types of earthmoving machinery, hydraulic and friction cranes, forklifts, and small hand tools. The work environment is primarily outdoors, exposing employees to a range of weather conditions. This role demands a vigilant individual with strong eyesight, hearing, balance, and physical endurance. Crane operators must adhere to the physical standards set forth by relevant ASME/ANSI regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and grasping activities.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, and utilization of hand tools.
- Comprehensive vision capabilities are required, including acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
- Effective communication skills are vital for interaction with colleagues regarding safety and operational issues related to equipment handling.
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions, with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and dust from construction activities depending on the project site.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing a minimum of five years of experience in equipment operation, demonstrating performance that meets or exceeds expectations.
