Position Overview:
This role is crucial for the effectiveness of our retail operations.

Customer Support Associates engage closely with both wholesale and retail clients to assess their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest suitable solutions.

These associates are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal client satisfaction, while keeping abreast of product features and upholding the high quality and visual standards of our offerings and store.

Customer Support Associates aim to deliver outstanding customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure exceptional levels of customer satisfaction through superior sales service.
  • Assist customers both in-person and via phone by identifying needs and presenting relevant products and services.
  • Establish productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with established policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain organized work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products as per customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and create appealing displays.
  • Maintain cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery operations as required.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about products offered and discuss available options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment work visa status.
  • Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Have prior experience selling paint and related products.
  • Have experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
