Job Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Psychology Technician to join our team in the Neuromodulation Clinic. As a Psychology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing support to our clinical team, delivering high-quality care to our patients, and contributing to the development of our neuromodulation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain equipment for neuromodulation treatments
  • Monitor patients during and after treatment sessions
  • Conduct daily screenings and monitoring of neuromodulation patients
  • Provide consultation support to the clinical team
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of neuromodulation research protocols and program evaluation projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology or a related social science
  • At least one year of experience in a technical role under the direction of a professional psychologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Basic Life Support certification
Working Conditions

The incumbent must be able to move expeditiously from place to place in the medical center and be able to sit and attend intensively to patient behavior over periods lasting several hours.
