Your responsibilities will include leading the development and implementation of a long-term decarbonization plan, developing on-the-ground projects and programs to advance our climate strategy, and advising Utility leadership on defining decarbonization and implementing measuring and monitoring best practices.
You will also work closely with our Municipal Water and Utility Technical and Performance teams to track, report, and dashboard our GHG emissions footprint in an annual GHG inventory publication, and lead the annual ESG reporting and the development of action items to reduce CO2 emissions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement a long-term decarbonization plan for the Utility and its operating regions
* Develop on-the-ground projects and programs to advance our climate strategy

**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemistry, or a related field

* Master's degree in a related field preferred
* 5 to 7 years of related experience
