Job Title: Certified Rehabilitation Assistant PRN

At Resilient Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a per-diem basis.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to work with us in providing top-notch care to our patients. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in delivering personalized care plans to maximize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging therapy sessions to promote patient progress and satisfaction.
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment options and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to set and achieve patient goals, identifying areas of strength and improvement.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and document patient progress, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare equipment and exam rooms for safe and efficient patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Pursue ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in physical therapy.

Qualifications:

  • A current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and software.
  • An Associate degree in physical therapy or related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.
  • Experience working with sensitive patient information and confidential records.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties primarily in a standing position and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Salary Estimate: $25-$35 per hour (dependent on experience)
