Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical EEG Specialist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Clinical EEG Specialist, you will be responsible for operating electroneurodiagnostic equipment to measure neural potentials for use by physicians in diagnosing neurological outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect EEG data for routine EEGs, Interventional Radiology, Evoked Potentials, Continuous EEG, and long-term epilepsy monitoring in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work under the supervision of a senior Neurodiagnostic Technologist and according to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and clinical engineering to resolve IT issues.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP Accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program or currently enrolled in a program.
- Eligible for exam under one of the following pathways: Level 1 technologist expected to obtain R.EEG.T credential within 1 year of employment.
- Associate's Degree or RPSGT certificate; 1 year clinical EEG experience; documentation of 150 EEGs post 1 year experience; 30 EEG ASET credits; current CPR/BCLS certification.
