This position is responsible for collecting and documenting patients' current medication lists upon admission to Blessing Hospital. The successful candidate will gather information from various sources, including patient interviews, home medication lists, and pharmacy records. The data will be used to facilitate an initial review with the pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and document patients' current medication lists
- Gather information from patient interviews, home medication lists, and pharmacy records
- Work with the pharmacist to complete an initial review of the medication list
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Course
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills and typing proficiency
While not required, having:
- Pharmacology education or pharmacy experience
- Excellent typing skills
