Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seed Production Specialist to join our team in Redwood Falls, MN. As a Seed Production Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all facets of row crop seed production, including inspecting and maintaining seed crops, supporting seed inventory management, and performing preventive maintenance and inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment, including forklifts, seed cleaning, harvesting, and planting machinery
  • Utilize systems to leverage real-time data and technology to drive efficient operations and processes
  • Actively partner with key business stakeholders, including growers and vendors, to execute plant and field operations
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, troubleshooting problems associated with equipment, processes, and systems as needed
  • Adhere to Bayer's Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) standards and drive efforts toward sustainability
  • Engage in continuous improvement programs and identify opportunities to improve performance in accordance with production area, site, and Bayer goals

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic user knowledge of standard computer programs, including Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 60lbs (a bag of seed)
  • Ability to work days, nights, rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as business needs require
