Swim Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Swim Instructor to join our team at Yavapai College. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming and safety skills to participants in a fun and educational environment.
Responsibilities:- Instruct participants in swimming and safety skills in the water.
- Provide a fun and educational swim lesson experience for participants.
- Observe and enforce all rules and regulations of the Yavapai College pool facility to prevent accidents or emergency situations.
- Lifeguard: Current Life Guard, Red cross water and CPR certification, good customer service/public relation skills, ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Swim Instructor: Same as above, must hold a Water Safety Instructor Certification or have at least six (6) months experience teaching all ages from 6 months to adult.
- Work experience in a community college/higher education environment.
- Certification/Licensure for specific trade(s) or craft may be required. Valid AZ Drivers License.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
