Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Power System Design Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop power systems for utility scale generation facilities. You will use your knowledge of electrical power engineering theories and principles to build and run simulations using PSSE, PSCAD and/or ETAP software, and perform studies including short circuit, reactive power, losses, arc flash, TOV or Harmonics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement power system designs that meet customer requirements and industry standards
  • Build and run simulations using PSSE, PSCAD and/or ETAP software
  • Perform studies including short circuit, reactive power, losses, arc flash, TOV or Harmonics
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and industry standards
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders


Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of related work experience in power system design and analysis
  • Strong understanding of electrical power engineering theories and principles
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%


Compensation: The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $105,000, depending on location and experience.
