Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction Project Management:
    • Oversee the substantial construction and project management of a remodeled 80,000 sq ft building.
    • Manage various contractors and internal teams to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
    • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to align construction activities with company goals.
  • Facility Management:
    • Maintain and manage five existing buildings, ensuring all facilities are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for Clean Room Preventative Maintenance and Compressor Maintenance.
    • Supervise janitorial activities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Ensure proper building security infrastructure is in place and functioning.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Lead the safety committee, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
    • Develop and implement Quality Plans for new facilities, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the facilities team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (sufficient related experience can replace Bachelor's degree).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including budget management and contractor oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and facility maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
