Job Summary:
As a Paramedic in the Emergency Department at UNC Health, you will be part of a dynamic team providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide age-specific care in compliance with standards of practice.
Provide care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Physician, utilizing a skill set approved by NC-OEMS.
Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment through patient privacy and professional behavior.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of OEMS-approved training and competency program for Paramedic and current North Carolina Paramedic Certification required.
Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Work Environment:
