Position Overview:
As a Junior Environmental Engineering Specialist at Ramboll Group A/S, you will become an integral part of our Water & Wastewater Engineering Division.

Your role will involve collaborating with industrial clients to execute a diverse array of water-centric projects, including the planning and design of industrial wastewater systems, permitting processes, and stormwater management initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
• Develop preliminary and comprehensive engineering designs for industrial wastewater treatment facilities.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot testing to assess treatability.
• Engage in fieldwork related to treatment plant operations and troubleshooting.
• Analyze discharge impacts on receiving water bodies.
• Assist in the permitting processes for wastewater and stormwater management.
• Support senior engineers in drafting proposals and technical reports.
• Oversee the construction phase of projects.
• Contribute to stormwater management programs.
• Conduct sampling activities for stormwater and wastewater across various locations.
• Perform essential engineering calculations.
• Create hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Collaborate with senior staff in compiling analytical data for reports.
• Participate in travel and fieldwork, which may include overnight assignments.

• Candidates should possess an ABET-accredited engineering degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical disciplines. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Candidates should be prepared to take the PE licensure exam or hold existing PE licensure.

Experience Requirements:
• Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license is essential. Travel may involve overnight stays and could be out of state or international.
• A valid driver's license is required.

The physical demands of this role may include activities such as climbing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Candidates should be prepared for exposure to varying weather conditions, high noise levels, and potential hazards associated with industrial environments.
