A Day in the Life of a Civil CAD Technician

As a Civil CAD Technician at CEI, you will be an integral part of our design team, working on a variety of site development projects, including commercial, industrial, public works, and more. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating detailed site geometry, utilities, grading, and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Analyzing surveys and field notes to identify potential constraints and ensure compliance with client specifications and civil engineering design standards
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and resolving any challenges that arise

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of CAD experience, a CAD certificate, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
