Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at GovCIO. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting physical and virtualized desktop, laptop, and server systems to meet Government approved requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and analyze products and solutions that meet approved requirements.
  • Develop and analyze requirements and use cases.
  • Prepare architecture diagrams to illustrate how solutions will integrate into an existing infrastructure.
  • Plan, design, build, and test on-premises or cloud-based solutions.
  • Apply DISA STIGs and other security policy through using automated tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements:
  • High School with 10+ years systems engineering (or commensurate experience)
  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability
  • 5+ years of hands-on desktop integration and engineering experience implementing on-premises or cloud-based solutions from concept through deployment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy Management, Office 365/teams, and Windows 11 OS
  • Proficient in Desktop Management and Deployment systems to include SCCM, Workspace ONE, Intune, and BigFix
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Citrix and VMWare
