Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at N2S Healthcare Staffing Solutions LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory procedures, reporting test results, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory procedures, including receiving and processing specimens, and reporting test results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify patient identification and specimen acceptability, and ensure that all laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with laboratory coworkers, physicians, and other caregivers to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient care.
  • Identify and investigate unusual or unexpected results, and consult with lead tech, supervisor, or pathologist as needed.
  • Perform and evaluate quality control and maintenance procedures, and implement corrective action as necessary.
  • Embody a culture of safety by adhering to Infection Control / Safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by utilizing supplies efficiently and rotating stock to ensure oldest supplies are used first.

Requirements:

Education: Associate Degree in Medical Lab Sciences, or equivalent, and relevant experience.

Credentials: CLIA certification for High Complexity Testing Personnel, and relevant experience.
