Position Overview:

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Aide plays a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation team by managing various administrative and clinical tasks. This position involves performing initial billing reconciliations and ensuring the timely return of necessary documentation from healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate communication with physicians regarding Medicare documentation.
  2. Manage supply inventory, including ordering and restocking as required.
  3. Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  4. Assist healthcare professionals in transferring patients and materials safely.
  5. Support therapists by setting up and cleaning treatment equipment.
  6. Transport patients within the facility as needed.
  7. Guide outpatients to the appropriate treatment locations.
  8. Assist with front office operations as time allows.
  9. Prepare patients for modalities and exercise equipment under therapist supervision.
  10. Perform messenger duties and other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred for this role.

Experience:

Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in a healthcare environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in computer usage is essential for this position.

Certifications:

Current BLS certification is required.
