Overview:
The MRI Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting a variety of MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and care within the MRI environment. This role involves close collaboration with Radiologists and patients to achieve optimal imaging results. The specialist will also engage in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards.

Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's Degree in an Allied Health Field. Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Experience:
Preferred two years of experience as a medical imaging technologist.

Licensure and Certification:
Current registration as an imaging technologist is required. MRI registration through ARRT must be obtained within one year of employment. BLS certification for healthcare providers is mandatory.

Skills:
- Proficient IV skills.
- Strong understanding of MR safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Computer proficiency, including knowledge of PACS and HIS/RIS systems.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
