We are a dedicated math-only learning center focused on providing students from K-12 with a tailored educational experience. Your Role: As a Lead Math Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning atmosphere for students and their families. You will receive training to deliver effective math instruction and inspire students through engaging teaching methods. Your responsibilities will include assessing student progress, collaborating with the Center Manager and staff, and performing necessary operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and collaborate with team members to provide personalized instruction in a group setting
  • Evaluate students' learning progress and engagement during sessions
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
  • Deliver instruction in-center, online, or through a hybrid model using the Mathnasium Method™
  • Become adept with digital educational tools and processes
  • Maintain a safe and professional learning environment
  • Assist with administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • A genuine passion for mathematics and working with students
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training
  • Exceptional math skills, at least through Algebra I
  • Ability to balance leadership and instructional duties

All candidates will need to demonstrate math proficiency through a literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Work Schedule:

  • 4 shifts per week
  • Weekdays: Monday-Thursday, 1:00 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Weekends: Sunday, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation:

  • $20.00/hour
