This is an exciting opportunity to join the California Health and Human Services Office of Technology and Solutions Integration (CalHHS OTSI) as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) with Child Welfare Digital Services (CWDS).
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage large information technology solutions with major sub-project dependencies.
- Collaborate with State leadership and vendor teams to ensure decisions are made within the project's complex governance structure and Decision-Making Framework (DMF).
- Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, communicate project needs, and ensure accurate project documentation.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on complex project reporting aspects and contribute to the development of state and federal project approval documents.
- Minimum three years of project management experience for large information technology solutions with major sub-project dependencies.
- Proven experience managing, leading, communicating effectively, and maintaining relationships in large, multi-disciplinary matrix teams and with critical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the California Department of Technology standards, including the California Project Management Framework, Project Approval Life Cycle, and Information Technology Project Oversight Framework.
