Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in San Francisco, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow clearly defined procedures to provide support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses.
  • Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a cardiologist.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care.
  • Mentor and train students as needed.
Requirements:
  • RCIS or ARRT – Radiology. If ARRT (R) must have California radiology technologist license.
  • BLA (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • 1 year of experience as IR Tech
