Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in San Diego, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient services using imaging modalities, including performing a variety of angio interventional procedures on patients of all ages.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and exercise professional attitude and judgment in the performance of duties.
  • Provide patient care essential to angio interventional procedures and recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years experience as a staff technologist in Interventional Radiology or successful completion of the department angiography interventional training program.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California), Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California), and Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate of advanced qualification: ARRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) and/or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV).
  • Venipuncture Certificate.
  • Additional training in the use and practices of angiography interventional procedures.
