X-Ray Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Emergent365. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, explaining procedures to patients, and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Explain procedures and protocols to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Operate imaging equipment, adjusting exposure factors and settings to produce high-quality images.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on imaging equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Process and review images for quality and accuracy, preparing them for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to x-ray imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology, with a minimum of an A.A.S. degree in radiologic technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certified in radiography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
