We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Manager to join our team at West Springfield Auto Powered By Parts Authority. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity, efficiency, and customer service in our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a High Level of Productivity and Efficiency
- Ensure Customer Service Goals are Continuously Met
- Formulate and Enforce Picking Goals for Each Area/Zones of the Warehouse
- Ensure Dock to Stock for Most Lines within 72 Hours
- Work with Purchasing to Develop and Implement Procedures for Unloading Orders from Vendors and Stocking Them on Our Shelves
- Ensure Trucks/Trailers are Efficiently and Accurately Loaded/Unloaded to Support the Efficient Movement of Goods and Materials to Their Destinations
- Work with Dispatchers and Outbound Production Team to Enhance Customer Service via Delivery Vehicles
- Check in and Post Orders from Hubs and Vendors
- Maintain an Accurate Count of Inventory
- Assist Parts Pullers to Locate and Identify Parts
- Handle Damaged Deliveries, Report Damaged Merchandise to Shippers and Vendors
- Coordinate with Store Manager and Purchasing on Inventory Updates and Replacements
- Maintain a Meticulous Standard for Cleanliness, Organization, and Safety Throughout the Warehouse
- Maintain a Safe Working Environment, Ensuring that Safety and Compliance Practices Meet DOT and OSHA Standards
- Maintain 5S Warehouse Principles are Administered and Followed on a Routine Basis
- Manage Carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) and Local (Contract) Delivery Relationships
- 2-4 Years of Experience as a Stock Manager
- Expertise in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Time-Sensitive Distribution Required
- Experience with WMS/Inventory Management System, RF Technology, and Conveyor Technology
- Ability to Multi-Task and Adjust to Dynamic Order Flow Fluctuations as Needed
- Self-Starter with Ability to Identify Areas Drifting Behind in Production and Pro-actively Take Action to Get Back on Track
- Experience in Tracking Metrics, Including Key Performance Indicators such as Inbound/Outbound Productivity
- Knowledge of Automotive Parts Preferred
- Forklift, Hazmat, and OSHA Certifications Preferred
- Clean/Valid Driver's License Preferred
- Ability (with or without Reasonable Accommodation) to Lift, Push, and Pull up to 50 Pounds, Stand/Walk for up to 10 Hours, Able to Squat, Bend, and Reach, Able to Climb and Descend Stairs Safely (Applies to Locations with Stairs)
- Ability to Work Powered Equipment (Forklift, Cherry Picker, etc.)
