Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Manager to join our team at West Springfield Auto Powered By Parts Authority. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a High Level of Productivity and Efficiency
  • Ensure Customer Service Goals are Continuously Met
  • Formulate and Enforce Picking Goals for Each Area/Zones of the Warehouse
  • Ensure Dock to Stock for Most Lines within 72 Hours
  • Work with Purchasing to Develop and Implement Procedures for Unloading Orders from Vendors and Stocking Them on Our Shelves
  • Ensure Trucks/Trailers are Efficiently and Accurately Loaded/Unloaded to Support the Efficient Movement of Goods and Materials to Their Destinations
  • Work with Dispatchers and Outbound Production Team to Enhance Customer Service via Delivery Vehicles
  • Check in and Post Orders from Hubs and Vendors
  • Maintain an Accurate Count of Inventory
  • Assist Parts Pullers to Locate and Identify Parts
  • Handle Damaged Deliveries, Report Damaged Merchandise to Shippers and Vendors
  • Coordinate with Store Manager and Purchasing on Inventory Updates and Replacements
Oversee Operations
  • Maintain a Meticulous Standard for Cleanliness, Organization, and Safety Throughout the Warehouse
  • Maintain a Safe Working Environment, Ensuring that Safety and Compliance Practices Meet DOT and OSHA Standards
  • Maintain 5S Warehouse Principles are Administered and Followed on a Routine Basis
  • Manage Carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) and Local (Contract) Delivery Relationships
Qualifications
  • 2-4 Years of Experience as a Stock Manager
  • Expertise in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Time-Sensitive Distribution Required
  • Experience with WMS/Inventory Management System, RF Technology, and Conveyor Technology
  • Ability to Multi-Task and Adjust to Dynamic Order Flow Fluctuations as Needed
  • Self-Starter with Ability to Identify Areas Drifting Behind in Production and Pro-actively Take Action to Get Back on Track
  • Experience in Tracking Metrics, Including Key Performance Indicators such as Inbound/Outbound Productivity
  • Knowledge of Automotive Parts Preferred
  • Forklift, Hazmat, and OSHA Certifications Preferred
  • Clean/Valid Driver's License Preferred
  • Ability (with or without Reasonable Accommodation) to Lift, Push, and Pull up to 50 Pounds, Stand/Walk for up to 10 Hours, Able to Squat, Bend, and Reach, Able to Climb and Descend Stairs Safely (Applies to Locations with Stairs)
  • Ability to Work Powered Equipment (Forklift, Cherry Picker, etc.)
