Job Title: Certified Locksmith

We are seeking an experienced Certified Locksmith to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic locking systems, cutting and issuing keys, and performing various locksmith duties.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electronic locking systems to ensure secure access to facilities.
  • Cut and issue keys for all residential facilities, using code numbers and code books as needed.
  • Re-key and repair locks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Install and repair exit devices and door closures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Address security and emergency needs related to doors and door hardware.
  • Perform all locksmith duties requested by supervisors, including reading blueprints to log keys for new construction and renovation.
  • Inspect tools and equipment daily to ensure safety and operational condition.
  • Receive and stock materials, supplies, tools, and equipment in the proper storage area.
  • Perform shop maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and clean the work area to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency, or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
