Production Line Operator/ Production Shift Lead

Tipton - Night Shift (7pm - 7am)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Evaluation & Testing
    • Oversee and implement the collection, evaluation, and testing of products in real-time to ensure prompt feedback for compliant production.
    • Acquire in-depth knowledge of product specifications, testing methodologies, and necessary equipment.
    • Propose process modifications to the Line Operator as needed.
  • Line Operator Support
    • Operate machinery for a specialized continuous production line through computerized control systems.
    • When necessary, lead a shift team that collaborates effectively to meet output and quality objectives.
    • Enhance technical understanding of equipment and raw materials to ensure efficient and productive output of specified product performance.
    • Record inventory transactions using Syteline, Factory Track, and FLOW systems.
  • General Duties
    • Perform all other production-related tasks as assigned or directed.
    • Comply with all quality standards and specifications.
    • Exhibit commitment to all assigned tasks.
    • Contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere.
    • Support and adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Follow New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Certification for fork and clamp truck operation (possess or obtain through New Pig training).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills - ability to perform fundamental math functions and conversions.
  • Physical capability - able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously, with occasional pushing/pulling of heavy items.
  • Production standards - capable of producing all products to standard rates.
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Flexibility with changing schedules.
Compensation and Benefits: Weekly paychecks. $18.00-$20.00/hour + $2/hour Shift Differential.
