Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Assembly Technician to join our team at our Savannah facility. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for interpreting technical documents, working with other team members to assemble products, and identifying any defective items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, and blueprints, to accurately assemble components into finished products.
  • Work with other members of the line or group to assemble products, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
  • Use reason to solve problems as they arise, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform tasks that require precision measurements, such as taking measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
  • Check output to ensure highest quality, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace or assembly station.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions.
  • Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Requirements
  • A High school diploma or GED combined with some experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment is required.
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, etc. is essential.
  • Ability to use tools, such as clamps, and machines, such as presses, is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a mechanical aptitude are necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods is required.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, planning, coordination, and priority setting skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills are required.
  • A strong track-record for being accountable and timely, while understanding the importance of maintaining a safe work environment, is necessary.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $15.00, group benefits, employee share purchase plans, opportunity for growth, and hot lunches served daily. This is a safety-sensitive role, and pre-employment drug and background screening will be required as part of the pre-requisite.
