Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, and motivate qualified body and paint technicians to ensure a skilled and productive team.
  • Prepare and submit weekly payroll reports to corporate in a timely manner.
  • Closely monitor and control costs, including labor and materials, to maintain gross profit margins.
  • Maintain and foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of parts and services.
  • Approve all sublet and outside vendor invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and grow body shop technicians to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of the job.
  • Prepare estimates on costs and time required for bodywork, and perform quality checks on completed jobs to ensure they meet our high standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two years experience in dealership body shop and body shop technician supervision.
  • Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
