Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is between $23,000 and $30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for the daily operations of an industrial Wastewater Pre-treatment plant, including all ancillary equipment and chemical treatment systems. Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining wastewater treatment systems, analyzing data and samples to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, diagnosing and repairing various pumps, drive units, reducers, pneumatic valves, solenoid valves associated with plant equipment, and performing maintenance and preventive maintenance activities as assigned.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Two years' experience operating and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment;
- A Wastewater and/or Water Operator Certification (preferably);
- The ability to work overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed;
- The ability to submit and pass a criminal background check; and
- Strong mechanical ability and aptitude.
