About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Pricing Manager to join our team at Teradata. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing models, tools, and frameworks to support data-driven pricing decisions and profitability analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage pricing models, tools, and frameworks to support data-driven pricing decisions and profitability analysis
  • Perform detailed cost analysis to understand the cost drivers of our offerings, ensuring pricing decisions are based on accurate and up-to-date cost data
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing effectiveness and profitability
  • Drive analytical efforts to uncover opportunities for profit improvement in the short and long term
  • Ensure accurate updates to the CPQ system to sustain an efficient quoting process
Who You'll Work With

As a Finance Pricing Manager, you will work collaboratively with the pricing teams in Product and Go to Market, Product Management and Services teams. You will also interact with other roles within Finance and Sales Operations.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics or other related field of study)
  • 8+ years' experience developing and implementing various pricing models & strategies including aaS, recurring revenue
  • 3+ years in the technology industry (software and cloud preferred)

  • Ability to wear many hats and work on different projects at the same time
  • Self-directed individual who is proactive
  • Strong research abilities including qualitative, and quantitative techniques
  • Advanced Excel skills with regards to complex interconnected data sets, template development and data consolidation

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
