Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Subacute Care Nursing Assistant to become a vital part of our healthcare team at Covina Rehabilitation Center.

Work Schedule:
This is a Full-Time position with a 4/2 schedule, focusing on PM/NOC shifts.

Qualifications:
- Active Nursing Assistant certification, demonstrating successful completion of a recognized CNA program.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Subacute care settings.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Good physical condition to assist with patient mobility and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A compassionate approach towards residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care to residents under the guidance of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and dining.
- Maintain organizational skills to ensure smooth unit operations.
- Respond to call lights to address resident needs promptly.
- Utilize proper body mechanics during patient handling.
- Conduct rounds to monitor patient conditions and report any changes.
- Provide companionship and high-quality care to all patients.
- Ensure a clean and healthy living environment for residents.
- Prioritize resident activities based on current care requirements.
- Safely lift and transition residents between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
- Assist in transporting residents to dining areas for meals and activities.
- Exhibit punctuality and professionalism in all duties.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation:
The pay scale for this position ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, contingent upon various factors including location, scheduled shifts, and individual qualifications.
