Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct the work of production associates to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Participate in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment and reduce incidents and accidents.
  • Monitor production schedules and required build rates to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Address potential bottlenecks and allocate resources as necessary to maintain efficient production.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to production associates to ensure job requirements are met and performance is optimum.
  • Evaluate staffing needs and participate in the selection and training of new co-workers.
  • Responsible for daily recording of department operational indicators, including production first pass yield, time charges, and out of stocks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Work history in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience, with assembly operations-based experience strongly preferred.
