Job Description

As a Plant Vehicle Team Engineer at G-TECH Services, Inc., you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the quality of exterior lighting and wiper systems in automotive manufacturing. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and resolving quality issues related to these systems, working closely with the Body Engineering team to deliver quality objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily reviews of incoming warranty claims data and customer feedback to identify quality issues.
  • Collaborating with the Body Engineering team to develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Supporting assembly plant operations with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis, and other quality-related tasks.
  • Leading engineering trials and implementing running changes for the sub-system.
  • Issuing engineering alerts and pursuing authorization for product changes to support quality objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of exterior lighting or washer/wiper systems.
  • Ability to establish a System Engineering approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools for documentation and presentation.
  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills, with experience in engineering problem-solving, root cause identification, and analysis.

Preferred qualifications include experience working in an automotive manufacturing environment and knowledge of Client Warranty systems, such as ECB, BSAQ, and GSAR. A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required, with a Bachelor's in engineering preferred.
