DOT Delivery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented DOT Delivery Assistant to join our team. As a DOT Delivery Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up merchandise in customers' homes in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Set up furniture and secure goods as needed.
  • Maintain high performance levels by keeping within customer time windows.
  • Accurately communicate and document delivery transactions with customers using mobile devices or provided paperwork.
  • Unload or load product as needed at stores or warehouses.
  • Assist in warehouses or showrooms as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • No delivery experience required; training provided.
  • Must have a current driver's license and a clean driving record with minimal moving violations.
  • Must be willing and able to push, pull, and repeatedly team lift 150 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to achieve DOT Certification (company paid).
  • Must be able to pass background requirements.
