Job Title: Data Center Facilities Engineer

Job Summary:

Serigor Inc is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, including electrical, environmental, and data capacity management.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor and report on power and HVAC-related alerts, ensuring prompt notification to the operations team.
* Coordinate maintenance and repair activities that may impact call floor operations.
* Scrutinize change requests related to upgrades or maintenance that might influence call floor operations.
* Generate weekly reports detailing critical infrastructure performance.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in data center and 911 center operations.
* Facilitate failover testing on critical infrastructure and 911 applications.
* Monitor and report on cybersecurity risks affecting the call floor.
* Manage data center projects, including vendor coordination and progress tracking.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Monitor and analyze power usage, temperature, and humidity levels in the data center.

Requirements:

* 16+ years of experience in a consulting leadership role, providing full lifecycle services in an enterprise environment.
* Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 15 years of experience managing complex projects.
* 15 years of experience in public safety radio, data networks, and facilities (HVAC, power, and physical security).
* 5 years of experience with architectural design/remediation of new/existing industrial or commercial projects.
* 2+ years of experience with architectural design of mission-critical projects.
* 3 years of experience in data center engineering.
* 3 years of experience designing and deploying data center infrastructure.
* 3 years of experience conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of datacenter infrastructure.
* 2 years of experience managing data center projects.
* 5 years of experience managing scope, schedule, and cost of network optimization.
* Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, such as TIA-942 and Uptime Institute Tier Standards.
