Job Summary:

Ancho & Agave is seeking a Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the wait staff, preparing dining areas for guests, clearing plates, glasses, and silverware, refilling waters, cleaning and resetting tables, side work, station set-up, sweeping, mopping, and general dining room and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the wait staff in providing exceptional customer service
  • Prepare dining areas for guests, including setting tables and ensuring all necessary items are available
  • Clear plates, glasses, and silverware from tables and reset tables for the next guests
  • Refill waters and other beverages as needed
  • Clean and maintain the dining room, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
  • Assist with side work, such as restocking condiments and cleaning equipment
  • Set up stations and ensure all necessary items are available
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, such as sweeping and mopping, to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
