Recruiting Solutions is seeking skilled Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers to join a successful manufacturing company in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a 1st shift opportunity that offers competitive starting pay of $26-$32/hr.
Job Requirements:- 2 years of experience as a mechanical assembler, with a 2-year technical degree strongly preferred.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
- Precision measurement tools: calipers, micrometers.
- Familiarity with wrenches, bolts, fasteners, and their sizes.
- Installation of machines and equipment according to circuit diagrams and material lists.
- Assembly according to assembly instructions and guidelines, with all necessary tests.
- Maintain test documentation, including acceptance reports and external/internal documentation.
- Material flow: proper handling of provided material, reassignment.
- Moderate handling of operating and auxiliary materials.
- Maintenance and servicing of assembly tools.
- Proper handling of the entire infrastructure, including hoists and transport equipment.
- Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees.
- Must have safety and environmental awareness.
- Must have a high sense of responsibility.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to understand assembly drawings and 3D models.
- Good time management and planning skills.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communications skills.
- Teamwork, flexibility to move from job to job to support the schedule.
- Ability to inspect and verify work to assure highest quality.
- Experience with machine installation, actuator, and sensor technology, with knowledge of control and regulation technology for commissioning machines and systems an advantage.
