RN - Progressive Care Float Pool Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Float Pool team at Kaiser Permanente. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assessment: Conduct thorough multi-system assessments, identifying deviations from normal and reassessing patients throughout their hospital stay.
- Planning: Develop individualized nursing plans of care, coordinating with other departments and community agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
- Implementation: Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol, accurately documenting patient care and medication administration.
- Evaluation: Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patient response to treatment, participating in unit quality assurance activities.
- Minimum 9 months of RN experience
- 2 years recent experience in progressive or intermediate care unit
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) required at hire
- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Previous health care experience
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Recent experience with respiratory compromised patients
- PCCN/CCRN Certification
- Recent attendance of Rhythm Recognition class or passing grade on Rhythm Recognition test
