Regional Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to join our team at North America Central School Bus. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize fleet availability.
- Manage and oversee the maintenance activities of multiple locations within your region.
- Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide guidance and training to technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance expenses.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of technicians.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong financial and budgeting skills, with the ability to manage and control maintenance expenses.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, as required.

This job operates in an office environment as well as a transportation terminal facility environment. In addition to various operating systems, electronic & transportation equipment, motorized equipment, and machinery, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
