Job Summary

OSF Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a specialist in brain function assessment, you will work closely with medical patients to evaluate and diagnose neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations to assess brain function and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve behavioral and cognitive functioning.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to provide expert consultation and guidance on patient care.
  • Provide interactive feedback to patients and their families, taking into account cultural, educational, and language needs.
  • Timely completion of evaluation reports and follow-up care as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide consultation and liaison services.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-approved training program.
  • Completion of a two-year fellowship program in Neuropsychology.
  • Valid and current license to practice clinical psychology issued by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
  • Board Certified or eligible in Neuropsychology, or pending application of licensure if in the probationary period of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting evaluations with adult, geriatric, and adolescent populations in medical settings.
  • Expertise with special populations like neurodevelopmental disorders and somatoform disorder.
