We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-changing care.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse, approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
- Three years of practical nursing experience (LPN III), one year of experience (LPN II), or no experience (LPN I).
- Ability to lift/carry 65 pounds, push/pull a maximum force of 25 pounds, and meet physical examination requirements.
