Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Judicial Law Clerk to join our team. As a Judicial Law Clerk, you will assist our attorneys with drafting documents, conducting research, and communicating with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare initial drafts of various documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Communicate with clients, interview witnesses, and consult with legal experts to prepare for trial.
  • Research case law to confirm legal authority cited in legal documents.
  • Create legal memoranda outlining the results of research to help plan the best strategy for success in court proceedings.
  • Maintain client files to ensure information is up-to-date and deadlines are properly docketed.
Requirements
  • Display attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Be a current law school student with a bachelor's degree or a recent law school graduate.
  • Be willing to take, or have already passed, the state bar exam.
  • Have one to two years of work experience in a legal environment.
  • Have excellent writing and communication skills to effectively argue cases.
