Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Manager to lead our team of field professionals. As a Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for directing, coaching, and developing technicians to create a high-performing team that delivers exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting New Employees: Provide training and development opportunities to new employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Coaching and Developing Technicians: Demonstrate and coach behaviors that ensure quality customer service, and provide feedback and coaching to technicians to improve their performance.
  • Training and Development: Train existing installers/technicians on changing processes, procedures, and technologies to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • On-Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate and coach team members regarding quality service and adherence to safety standards.
  • Improving Team Performance: Work hands-on alongside technicians to improve team and individual performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Fleet Management: Manage fleet-related processes, including vehicle maintenance and upkeep, to ensure that our vehicles are safe and well-maintained.
  • Escalated Issues: Address escalated customer and/or employee issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma, college degree preferred but not required.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong competency in leading, developing, mentoring, and coaching; ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to obtain an elevated understanding of processes, procedures, and responsibilities performed by direct reports; ability to write reports and correspondence; excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills; ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, work in small spaces and/or in all climates, and safely operate a motor vehicle.
