Senior Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P

Job Summary:
The Senior Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P is responsible for ensuring the quality and airworthiness of aircraft and components in the Repair Station. This role requires a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms and documents, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft and components to ensure compliance with FAA-approved data and acceptable standards of quality.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and legible records of work performed on aircraft and components, and ensure that all required documentation is properly completed and filed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with technicians and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, and effectively communicate with team members and management.
- Training and Development: Mentor technicians on effective documentation and quality control procedures, and assist in the training of Airworthiness Inspectors.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Continuously monitor repair station compliance with FAR Part 145 and the FAA accepted site Repair Station and Quality Control Manual.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, 6 years aircraft/component inspection experience, and Airframe and Powerplant License required.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficient in blueprint reading, use/interpretation of Maintenance Manuals, test specifications, and other inspection-related documentation; strong written and verbal communication skills; and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word and minimum 20 WPM typing speed.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
