About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Driver Class A to join our team. The successful candidate will transport goods and materials safely and efficiently, operating a tractor-trailer combination, truck and trailer combinations, and flatbeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
  • Load and unload cargo responsibly.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance, adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks (manual or electric) to ensure proper securing of items and prevent damage during transit.
  • Assist with unloading product at customer locations.
  • Deliver items by following pre-established routes, supervising unloading and loading, and maintaining a strict schedule.
  • Ensure safe operations and maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain safety checks and comply with federal, state, and local driving rules and regulations.
  • Produce and maintain paperwork related to deliveries and driver activities.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL-A driving license
  • At least 23 years old
  • Previous OTR experience (2+ years)
  • Clean MVR (no accidents in the past 3 years)
  • No DUI in the past 5 years
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English; fluency in Spanish is helpful
  • Working knowledge of current transportation operations

Work Environment:

This role primarily involves sedentary work or working in a chilled factory or warehouse environment. You will regularly stand, walk, talk, or hear, and may be exposed to temperatures within the operations and warehouse environments.
