Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge and enthusiasm for emerging technologies (APIs, Big Data, Native UIs) to enhance product development.
- Utilize SQL to devise a data-driven strategy, extract insights, and resolve issues.
- Oversee daily KPI management, requiring robust SQL and data analysis skills.
- Be comfortable with backend products and challenge conventional norms for the benefit of the team.
- Proficiently manage large data sets using SQL, Python, and/or R.
- Handle daily product operations, including identifying bugs and leveraging opportunities through a comprehensive understanding of data.
- Adopt a product-centric mindset to guide products from ideation to production, continuously iterating for improvement.
- Maintain a customer-first approach.
- Act as a strategic thought leader, creating a compelling vision and narrative to present to senior executives and inspire teams.
- Communicate effectively to advance initiatives and build consensus through clear and relevant messaging.
- Foster a healthy team culture through thoughtful leadership.
- Focus on results while managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Identify, prioritize, and launch innovative, merchant-focused products that drive revenue and enhance customer value.
What You'll Do:
- Lead cross-functional teams of software and data engineers to design and deliver foundational data for our Hotels meta search product.
- Understand enterprise data requirements and ensure compliance with established patterns.
- Persistently seek to understand user and stakeholder needs, ensuring they are prioritized in discussions.
- Create a vision and roadmap for your product that aligns with stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, designers, engineers, and others to refine the roadmap and gather insights from experiments and product launches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders reliant on our platforms' capabilities and performance.
- Define, communicate, and monitor key performance indicators to track project evolution and success.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in digital product management.
- At least 5 years of experience working with SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- MBA or Master's degree.
- 7+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
